British filmmaker Alexander Taylor’s latest short, The Pea Master (2012), is the story of a young man’s unlikely obsession for that most humble of pod-fruits, specifically the green spherical seed known as the pea. The seven-minute mockumentary has been selected for competition at this year’s Milano Film Festival (September 12-23, 2012). Alex asked me to come up with some posters for the occasion, which he had printed to aid in promoting his film around Milan. If you happen to be in the Lombard capital this month, you can catch screenings of The Pea Master at Cinema Ariosto (9/14), Teatro Strehler (9/20) and Cinema Palestrina (9/22).
