Why isn’t this on my kitchen wall?
Navigating the landscape of pasta can be mind-boggling, especially in Italy where various styles seem to go by different names depending on the brand and region. I recently came across this incredible poster that meticulously depicts and categorizes over 250 varieties. Some are a simple roll of the thumb, others are architectural feats of engineering, but either way it’s truly amazing what can be achieved with a little flour and water. With so many types to choose from it’s no surprise that 95% of Italians eat the stuff every day. So if you don’t know your bavette from your bucatini, or your trofie from your tagliatelle, this may be the perfect gift.
